Cassia’s beautiful natural setting makes it a wonderful country venue for a romantic wedding in the Cape Winelands.
Situated on Nitida Wine farm in the heart of the Durbanville Wine Valley, travel time from Cape Town is a mere 20 minutes.
The classic Cape Heritage style building is cleverly designed to allow maximum flexibility in accommodation. The dedicated functions kitchen offers pre-designed function menus at various price points but these are flexible to suit individual needs and dietary requirements. Our team of chefs will design an individual menu specifically suited for your wedding.
The Saffron room is completely self sufficient, accommodating 30 – 100 guests depending on configuration, or it can be seamlessly enlarged into an attached bedouin tent to seat 200 people in comfort.
The ceremony can be performed on the Estate; in the Saffron courtyard, on the lawn, or alternatively by the jetty.
Venue hire includes crockery, cutlery, chairs, tables & glassware for up to 80 guests.
Ceremony costs include the setup – does not include the arch, carpet or chair covers.
10% Gratuity fee will be charged on the food and beverages.If you bring your own wine and champagne, a corkage fee will be charged.
We can offer a open bar, limited bar or cash bar.
